MARATHON: A performance by JAMS (Jemima Yong, Alan Fielden, Malachy Orozco, Sophie Grodin) Winners of this year's Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award 2018. Marathon is a project where the storytelling is disrupted, never fully taking shape, as the narrators try to recall an event. Find tickets here!

14th January 2018:
14th January marks the day when Kosmologym will begin. Walking in a parade of sound and objects that eventually will constitute the Kosmologym (exhibition) we will transport the plants, stoneheads, basketballs, treadmills, jenga blocks, instruments and much more from Nordhavn to Østerbro.
Through this movement a spacious temporary relationship between humans and others will be created and land in Den Frie Udstillingsbygning at Østerbro. Through simultaneous chaos and thoughtfulness / attention this image will be sunk into the ground at Den Frie Udstillingsbygning to sounds of drums, violins and voices. See more here:
17th November 2017:
A sharing of the performance Marathon with JAMS: Jemima Yong, Alan Fielden, Malachy Orozco and myself at the Barbican's Pit Theatre in London. Marathon is won the Oxford Samuel Beckett Price 2018. More info on this project to come soon!

The 7th, 8th and 9th April 2016 I will be performing a version of Alan Fielden's performance Midpoint at April Wernham's performance event DANCE (HOME) LIKE THE WORLD IS ENDING : "a series of texts set to a soundscape of field recordings interwoven with live happenings…"

3rd February - Roehampton University: Heading for the Horizon: the composition of a performance
"Karen Christopher and Sophie Grodin are two people standing at the edge of a landscape, tied to opposite ends of a 100-meter rope they hop, skip, cajole, and reminisce about other people’s lives. They are devising a performance duet: miles & miles. They are stepping back from the edge to give a performance lecture on the results of their 3-day residency in DTP’s Studio 5. "Some things have to be imagined before they can become real."

GROUP ROOM experience for 12 participants, in collaboration with the artist Adam James as part of the Parade for Peckham research project. This will involve a series of physical and verbal exercises leading up to a blindfolded group performance.

DIG closing party - FAREWELL OLD ROAD
An all new performance piece, ROOMxROOM will be debuted at DIG's final closing party in Lewisham. Collaborating with Peter Cattermoul (Teleman) and Michael Lovett (NZCA Lines) on sound and music, April Wernham on live illustration, Ed Rapley on the mic as commentator, Max Morris Doherty (PUWABA) providing oily liquid light projections.
